Shingal (Iraq) – The US Air Force continued its attacks against the “Islamic State” (IS) terrorists in Shingal, Northern Iraq with massive airstrikes, and thus enabled an advance of Kurdish fighting forces.

These intensified Air Force attacks in Shingal were absolutely necessary due to the IS offensive against the Êzîdî supply route.

Moreover, according to YPG friendly media, there were further airstrikes by coalition fores against IS emplacements surrounding the Kurdish region of Kobanî in Syria. The Kurdish People’s Defense Forces, YPG are defending this region that is being threatened by a major IS offensive for now more than one week.

In order to enforce attacks and repel an impending defeat, the IS terrorists have now joint forces in a coalition with other radical terrorist organizations in Syria, namely Al-Nusra and the Al-Qaida friendly Khorasan group that were considered enemies until recently.
