Zorava (Iraq) – During an offensive near the village Zorava (Video) Kurdish resistance fighters managed to destroy four Humvee vehicles and kill 14 IS terrorists the day before. Several days ago, intense fights erupted in Zorava. The Ezidi units withdraw temporarily, reorganized and formed up newly to finally attack the terrorists with a devastating offensive.
Because of the advance of the Kurdish units, the Peshmergas, the YPG/PKK as well as the Iraqi units in northern Sinjar, many IS terrorists have already fled from that region over the border into Syria. Further major offensives on behalf of Kurdish forces happened near Mosul and Kirkuk. The border town Rabia has been defended by the YPG/PKK and Pershmerga units for weeks yet came under pressure because of the terroristic invasion of Kobanî where many of the troops are needed now.
The supply route of the Ezidi defense unit passes through Rabia. This route has been blocked for days. Neither ordnance nor recruitment arrived at the Ezidi units. New recruited fighters had to wait in Duhok for a breakthrough. US air strikes managed to break through the terrorists’ defense line so that the Kurdish units were able to pass and to inflict serious casualties.
