Resistance fighters have considered the results of today´s clashes: Over 60 ISIS terrorists have been killed, the majority of them in the south of the mountain where resistance units were supported by air cover from the coalition forces and Iraqi army. In addition, about 14 ISIS vehicles were destroyed. In the north of the mountain, where the pilgrimage site Sharfadeen is located at, fightings continued, but without air cover. The situation is stable but still threatening.

Around 10 women have been freed from the captivity of ISIS terrorists, the Ezidi cultural association Bingeha Lalish based in the Kurdish autonomous region announced in a statement. Details on how the women were rescued are currently unknown. It is assumed that middlemen were hired to ransom them.

ISIS terrorists have destroyed the watter supply system in Borik which is about two kilometres west of the Sharfadeen sanctuary. Previous to that, the terrorists had started to sabotage the infrastrucure of other Ezidi villages, including Zorava.

Heavy clashes west of Sharfadeen sanctuary, more clashes are being reported in the southwest near Sikeniye. Several dozen resistance fighters are believed to be surrounded there. In Sikeniye, heavy clashes already occured yesterday in which the Ezidi commander Sheikh Kheri lost his life.
