The terrorist organization ISIS has continued its destructive mania against Ezidis in recent days in Sinjar. The extremists already blew up around 90 houses a week ago south of Sinjar. After suffering defeats against PKK and Peshmerga forces in the border town of Rabia north of Sinjar on the one hand, and defeats against Ezidi forces in several villages north of Mount Sinjar on the other, the terrorists have gone over to set fire to more houses and destroy infrastructure. In addition, heavy losses have been inflicted on them by massive U.S. airstrikes.

In Zorava, where over a dozen of terrorists have been killed in clahses with Ezidi resistance fighters, the terrorist organization has sabotaged and crippled water supply systems. Infrastructure of the surrounding villages has also been destroyed, as local Ezidi fighters reported. Matthew Barber, a journalist who is currently in the region, confirms the incidents. Ezidi forces were able to retake the village after they had made a tactical retreat before.

South of Mount Sinjar, near the same-named town Sinjar, ISIS terrorists looted further villages and set fire to the houses afterwards. In some cases the terrorists rig booby traps in deserted houses, as it can be seen in a video published by Peshmerga forces.
